150Mbps Micro Wireless N USB Adapter

OK, so the built in wireless on my Sony VAIO gave up the ghost after four years - turning the wireless hardware switch to "on" would result in continual, serial rebooting of the laptop. Perhaps it could have been fixed, but this was an opportunity to try out the minuscule TRENDnet TEW-648UBM... The specs:
  • Interface USB 2.0
  • Standards IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, and IEEE 802.11n (draft 2.0)
  • Button WPS button: enables quick wireless connection with WPS function
  • Power Consumption Receive mode: 100mA (max.)
  • Transmit mode : 210mA (max)
  • Supported OS Windows 7 (32/64-bit), Vista (32/64-bit), XP(32/64-bit)
  • Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5, 10.6
  • Dimensions (LxWxH) 20 x 15 x 7 mm (0.8 x 0.6 x 0.3 in.)
  • Weight 1 g (0.03 oz)
Worked like a charm... Very unobtrusive:
