So, Georgia will host a NATO meeting in Tbilisi in November this year, and still expects to become a member... despite some skepticism... And Saakashvili would like the U.S. to provide heavy weaponry to allow Georgia to "defend itself from Russia."

Meanwhile, Ronald Asmus, author of "A Little War Which Shook The World" (see reviews linked above), passed away this month, mourned by many.
