Gemini - first look

Today the Gemini I backed on Indiegogo was delivered! As soon as I was home I unboxed it and plugged in in to charge!

And my accessories:

For comparisons re size, thickness, etc., here is the Gemini alongside a Sony Tablet P, the venerable HP 200lx, a Cool Bphone, a Sharp Zaurus SL-C3000 (my current workhorse), a HTC U11 (my current cell phone), and a Nokia Communicator E90:

Here's are some pictures of the Gemini with a GPD Win and a UMID M1:

I currently use a combination of a HTC U11 cell phone and Sharp Zaurus PDA. The Zaurus dethroned the venerable HP 200lx I had used for years, but it is getting very old, I've had one model or another for fifteen or sixteen years, starting with the SL-C700. Over that period of time I've tried almost everything that has come out but have always gone back to the Zaurus despite its lack of connectivity! Size, weight, form factor, instant on, productivity applications such as IQNotes, Portabase, InforManager, etc. have keep it as my go-to daily 'second brain.'

Will the Gemini dethrone it and take over? Will I be able to go from two devices down to one? We'll know in the next few weeks or months!
